About
Steven Calbert is a long-time Sandy resident. Steven has been a foster parent for over 30 years. He has volunteered his life to help bring a positive influence to the lives of more than 70 young men through the Utah Foster Care system. Steven has also adopted some of these young men and several have now gone on to raise families of their own. In working with these young men, Steven has learned how to deal with many different personalities and has learned a great deal of patience. Steven has earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting.
Steven is excited to be running for City Councilman At Large in Sandy City. He has a very strong background in numbers and is known for being transparent and forthright. Steven’s background in accounting gives him the ability to understand complex budgets. Steven is a believer in the laws that govern both our city and state and is committed to continuing the flow of transparency. Steven is all about the best interest of the citizens of Sandy City and is in hopes of your support.
